Shafin de Zane, CHT, MNLP is a spiritual teacher and an entrepreneur. After running multiple successful businesses across different countries for more than 5 years, Shafin started practicing hypnotherapy in Singapore. He was trained by some of the world leaders of personal transformation. Shafin is internationally recognized as a popular author, master hypnotist, Hypnotherapist and coach. He conducts seminars and teaches classes and workshops around the world. 

Born in one of the backwater countries of the world, Shafin de Zane grew up in extreme poverty. He started earning his living from the age of 5 and worked in numerous different jobs. At age 12 he was sent to the military school to prepare for the army and he spent his teenages in an institution where he was allowed to see the outside world only once in 6 months.

Dealing with extreme hardship and human behavior under stress, this is where he became fascinated with psychology and the human mind. He observed that the human mind operates in weird ways especially when there is a lot of stress involved. He also observed that certain “buttons” elicited certain behaviors and if you knew how to press those buttons, you could control a human mind. Out of basic survival, these were the very first steps Shafin took towards understanding mind control.

After 6 years of para-military training, Shafin managed to opt out of the army due to “medical reasons” and continued his quest of understanding human behavior. He went to study psychology in Canada.

Traditional psychology and psychiatry did not suit well with him however and he decided to drop out of this field for while. In his own words “diagnosing people with an illness and keeping them on medicine was not a very fulfilling thing to do.”

Shafin de Zane started his business career at the age of 21 and failed in three consecutive businesses. At 23, he went bankrupt and lost virtually everything. He entered a state of depression and had nowhere else to go. Interestingly, this is when he made his real beginning…

“On my 23rd birthday, some interesting things happened. Something that had never happened before. I received not a single phone call from anyone who would wish me a happy birthday. My best friend forgot. My Mum forgot. The girl I was dating at the time forgot… I stayed up all night wondering if this is how my life is always going to be? Lonely, poor and boring… And right before the sun came out, I started crying. I cried not because nobody remembered me but because I just couldn’t find the answer to why I had to have such a lousy start. I cried and I cried for so long that I lost track of time. I didn’t go out for days and I didn’t sleep for nights. I never really contemplated suicide but this is when I reached the bottom…

As I tell my students these days, being at zero is an interesting place to be. A lot of miracles tend to happen when you have reached the end of everything. Somehow when you have nothing to loose anymore, life takes a u-turn. So it was one of these days something happened in me and I decided that things have got to change. It cannot go on like this. I made a definite promise to myself that I am going to do whatever it takes, no matter what, to bring about a change in my life! I was willing to do anything! And the story soon started to change!

For 2 years I went through the wildest roller coaster ride of my life! I went to absolute highs and I was given challenges that almost ruined me. But I had made a commitment to do whatever it takes. And in these two years, what I experienced and learnt changed my life in beyond my wildest dreams!”

In the next 5 years, Shafin achieved and became what may look like a Hollywood movie. His businesses started picking up and flourished across the world, he was selected by the World Bank as one of the youngest social entrepreneurs in Washington DC, he was featured in the newspapers and television for his pioneering development projects, and he became a millionaire at age 25.

Shafin de Zane went back to healing arts and became a Master Hypnotist at 26 and obtained his diploma on Hypnotherapy. He also became a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists, USA the same year. After becoming a registered 7th Path Self Hypnosis® teacher, he started teaching across the globe and found great satisfaction in the process. To take himself and his students forward he later became a “5th Degree Teacher” for the Ultimate Recognitions. Eventually in 2007, he began to teach more and more people the deeper sides of spirituality through personal coaching and live programs.

Shafin de Zane is the author of highly popular ebook “Redefine Your Reality” and thousands of people sign up for his e-course every month that he conducts on the Internet. His new book Redefine Your Reality: The Science of Attraction is on the way.

Shafin de Zane is now based partly in US and partly in Singapore and regularly conducts workshops, seminars and therapy for students across the world.
